Privacy Policy
The following information explains how the WordPress plugin Img Performer and the associated server services at img-performer.enfants.de process personal data, in accordance with Art. 13 and 14 GDPR.

2. Data processing by the plugin (Free)
The plugin Enfants Img Performer (Free) does not process any personal data of website visitors. All image conversions run locally on the server of the respective WordPress installation. No images, IP addresses or personal information are transmitted to external services.
Optional CO₂ statistics (opt-in, disabled by default)
The plugin includes an optional feature to contribute to a global savings statistic. If the administrator enables this feature in the plugin settings, the plugin sends the following data once per day to https://tools.enfants.de/imp-stats/:
- An anonymous, randomly generated site ID (UUID v4, generated locally, no personal reference)
- The total amount of bytes saved through WebP conversion (no personal reference)
No IP addresses, domain names, images or personal data are transmitted. The anonymous site ID cannot be traced back to you or your website. The service is operated by Enfants Terribles digital GmbH on an EU server (Netcup, Germany).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent through active activation of the feature).
3. Data processing by the plugin (PRO)
In the context of using the PRO version and the licence server, only the data technically required is processed:
- Domain of the WordPress installation (for licence activation)
- E-mail address of the buyer (from the Digistore24 order)
- Licence key (generated from order data)
4. Purpose of processing (PRO)
- Activation and management of PRO licences
- Assignment of the licence to a domain (domain lock)
5. Legal basis (PRO)
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing misuse).
6. Disclosure of data
No personal data is disclosed to third parties, except to Digistore24 as the payment service provider (see their privacy policy at digistore24.com).
7. Retention period
Licence data is stored for the duration of the active licence. After cancellation or expiry, data is deleted after 12 months. Anonymous CO₂ statistics data is stored indefinitely in aggregated form, but contains no personal reference.
8. Data security
- All data transfers are encrypted via HTTPS
- The plugin does not use cookies, tracking or external analytics tools
- Image conversions run exclusively on the operator's own server
- No image content is transmitted to external servers
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
