WebP and AVIF automatically
Every upload is converted to WebP and AVIF; the smallest format is served per image. All thumbnail sizes, srcset and retina variants are included. No monthly limit.
AI labelling under EU AI Act Art. 50
IMG Performer detects AI-generated images via C2PA metadata, EXIF hints and signatures of known AI tools, keeps the machine-readable marking intact across every image size, and sets a visible label on request whose design can be customized. The machine-readable marking itself comes from the AI tool – WordPress just must not discard it when generating thumbnails.
Accessible alt text
In the Pro version, IMG Performer generates alt text with AI – through your own API key, with a provider of your choice (Mistral, France, recommended). No credit system, no cap; you only pay your actual usage.
Everything local
